This Privacy Policy explains what data OperatorFacts collects when you visit this site, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.
1. Who we are
OperatorFacts (“we”, “us”, “this site”) operates operatorfacts.com. For any privacy-related query, contact benoit@operatorfacts.com.
OperatorFacts is currently published on an informal, unincorporated basis by the Operatorfacts Team, operating from the Philippines.
2. What data we collect
- Analytics data: not currently collected – this site does not run an analytics tool at this time. If that changes, this policy will be updated first to describe what is collected.
- Cookies: see Section 4 below.
- Contact form data: if you email us or use a contact form, we collect the information you submit – typically your email address and message content.
- Server logs: our hosting provider logs IP addresses and request data for security and operational purposes.
We do not collect financial information, government ID numbers, or account credentials for any third-party operator. We never ask for this information, and any page or email claiming to be from us that requests it is not legitimate.
3. Legal basis for processing
Where GDPR or a similar framework applies, we rely on:
- Consent – for non-essential cookies and analytics tracking (see cookie banner)
- Legitimate interest – for essential site security, fraud prevention, and basic server operation
- Consent – for any data you voluntarily submit through a contact form
You may withdraw consent at any time by adjusting your cookie preferences or by contacting us.
4. Cookies
We use cookies for the following purposes: strictly necessary cookies for site security and load balancing (no consent required); analytics cookies to understand how visitors use the site (consent required); and affiliate tracking cookies to attribute referrals to affiliate partners when you click an outbound /go/ link (consent required).
Non-essential cookies are only set after you consent through our cookie banner. You can withdraw consent at any time through your browser settings or the cookie preference tool on this site.
5. Third parties who may receive data
- Analytics provider: none currently in use – this site does not run an analytics tool at this time
- Affiliate networks: operators linked via
/go/may receive a referral signal (typically a click ID or cookie) when you follow an affiliate link - Hosting/CDN provider: BunnyCDN – processes server logs and traffic for delivery and security
- Email provider: if you contact us, your message is processed through BunnyCDN
We do not sell personal data.
6. International data transfers
Our hosting infrastructure is located in Asia. If you access this site from outside that jurisdiction, your data may be transferred to and processed in that jurisdiction, which may have different data protection laws than your own.
7. Retention period
We do not currently retain analytics data, as no analytics tool is in use. Contact form correspondence is retained for as long as needed to resolve your enquiry, after which it is deleted unless a legal obligation requires longer retention.
8. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (including under Malaysia’s PDPA, Indonesia’s UU PDP, and GDPR where applicable), you may have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your data, withdraw consent for non-essential processing, and object to certain types of processing.

9. Children’s data
This site is not directed at, and does not knowingly collect data from, individuals under 18. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We will update the “Last updated” date above whenever this policy changes, and note material changes at the foot of this page.
